2 g ZOVIRAX Duo cream with acyclovir and hydrocortisone at arzneiprivat

ZOVIRAX Duo 50 mg/g / 10 mg/g cream for cold sores

ZOVIRAX Duo Cream contains both the antiviral active ingredient aciclovir in a concentration of 50 mg/g and the anti-inflammatory active ingredient hydrocortisone in a concentration of 10 mg/g. The cream can be applied at the first signs of cold sores to prevent blisters from forming. Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus, which most people carry in their bodies. However, the infection does not break out in everyone. In those affected, cold sores usually start with a slight tingling sensation on the lip. This is followed by inflammation at the site and, later, painful and itchy blisters may also form on the lip. Cold sores often flare up in those affected by stress, fever, sun exposure, or even disgust.

ZOVIRAX Duo Cream is designed to inhibit the spread of the virus in cases of cold sores, relieve inflammation and, when applied early, even prevent blisters from forming, thereby accelerating healing.

Dosage of ZOVIRAX Duo Cream:

ZOVIRAX Duo 50 mg/g / 10 mg/g cream is applied directly to the affected areas. Hands should be washed thoroughly before and after application to prevent aggravation or transmission of cold sores.

  • Adolescents aged 12 years and older and adults: Apply 5 times a day (every 3-4 hours during the day) for 5 days.

If symptoms have not improved after 5 days, consult a doctor.

Order ZOVIRAX Duo 50 mg/g / 10 mg/g cream without a prescription from arzneiprivat – a German pharmacy with shipping within the EU.
