PINIMENTHOL cold ointment is a herbal medicine for clearing the respiratory tract, loosening stuck mucus and relieving coughing irritation. After use, the essential oils contained reach the respiratory tract and relieve the symptoms of colds, hoarseness and uncomplicated bronchitis.

The PINIMENTHOL cold ointment can be applied externally or inhaled. When applied externally, PINIMENTHOL cold ointment is applied to the chest and back. The essential oils enter the bloodstream through the skin and are transported from there to the respiratory tract. In addition, the essential oils that evaporate on the skin are inhaled. When inhaling, the ointment is added to hot water and then inhaled either with the PINIMENTHOL inhaler or with a suitable bowl. The essential oils are inhaled with the steam and reach the bronchi. How to use?
Apply the medicine to the affected area(s) of skin. Preferred areas are the chest and back. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas. Do not use on the face. Wash hands thoroughly after use.
Or: Prepare the medicine and inhale it. To do this, pour hot water over the required amount of medicine. Bend your head over the container and inhale the vapours through your nose and mouth. The medicine should only be used if it is safe to handle.

Duration of use?
You should not use the medicine for longer than 3-5 days without medical advice. If symptoms persist or recur regularly, you should consult your doctor.

How do the ingredients of the medicine work?

The ingredients come from several plants and act as a natural mixture. They increase blood circulation and loosen mucus in the area of application. Eucalyptus also stimulates the fine hairs of the upper airways to move more quickly. This makes it easier to remove stuck mucus and facilitate coughing. It also reduces coughing spasms. The ingredients in the pine are also said to have a mild bactericidal effect. The active ingredient menthol dissolves tough mucus particles, combats inflammation, relaxes cramped muscles and stimulates blood circulation.

Die Inhaltsstoffe entstammen mehreren Pflanzen und wirken als natürliches Gemisch. Sie bewirken im Anwendungsgebiet eine vermehrte Durchblutung sowie eine Schleimlösung.
