The MUCOSOLVAN cough drops help with productive coughs with stuck mucus. A persistent cough often occurs with flu-like infections or colds. The active ingredient Ambroxol helps to loosen stuck-on mucus in the bronchi so that it can be coughed up better and more easily. This clears the bronchi.

How to use?

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient loosens stuck mucus in the airways. The thick mucus becomes thinner and its adhesion to the mucous membranes of the bronchial tubes is reduced. This reduces mucus build-up and makes it easier to cough up.
Applied locally, the active ingredient can anaesthetise mucous membranes on the surface and thus alleviate a sore throat for a short time, for example.

Der Wirkstoff löst festsitzenden Schleim in den Atemwegen. Der zähe Schleim wird dünnflüssiger und die Haftung an den Schleimhäuten der Bronchien nimmt ab. Dadurch geht die Verschleimung zurück und das Abhusten wird erleichtert.
