Dosage
Excessive gas formation in the gastrointestinal tract:
Children aged 6-14 years 1 chewable tablet 3-4 times a day in the morning, at midday and in the evening, possibly also before going to bed, with or after a meal
Adolescents aged 14 and over and adults 1-2 chewable tablets 3-4 times a day in the morning, at midday and in the evening, possibly also before bedtime, with or after a meal
In preparation for imaging examinations (1st day before the examination):
Children from 6 years of age and adults 2 chewable tablets 3 times a day in the morning, at midday and in the evening, with or after a meal
In preparation for imaging examinations (on the day of the examination):
Children from 6 years of age and adults 2 chewable tablets 2 chewable tablets in the morning, with or after a meal

- Excessive gas formation in the gastrointestinal tract, e.g. flatulence

How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?
The active ingredient helps against flatulence. This is caused by accumulated gases in the gastrointestinal tract, which are present in the form of a fine foam. The active ingredient promotes the removal of the gases by destroying this foam.

42 mg simeticone
41 mg dimethicone 3000
0.3 g glucose
0.25 g sucrose
+ glycerol monostearate
+ bitter fennel oil
+ peppermint oil
+ levomenthol

What speaks against use?
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 6 years of age: As a rule, the medicine should not be used in this group. There are preparations that are more suitable in terms of active ingredient strength and/or dosage form.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: According to current knowledge, the medicine has no harmful effects on the development of your child or the birth.
- Lactation: According to current knowledge, there are no indications that the medicinal product should not be used during lactation.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with use in the case of a contraindication.

What adverse effects can occur?
- itching
- Hives
- Transient, spontaneous reddening of the skin on the cheeks with a feeling of heat (flushing)
- Spontaneous (mucous) skin swelling (angioedema)

What should you be aware of?
- Take care if you are allergic to spices such as aniseed, mugwort, dill, fennel, carrot, coriander, caraway, paprika, parsley, celery and tomatoes!
- Take care if you are intolerant to glucose. If you have to follow a diabetes diet, you should take the sugar content into account.
