Benzaknen is an acne remedy for application on the skin.

How to fight pimples and acne:

Benzaknen is applied selectively to the affected areas of the skin. The active ingredient of is the benzyol peroxide.
BPO is lipophilic, has an antibacterial effect and eliminates 94% of all acne bacteria. As a result, you will experience visibly improved skin appearance partly after 1-2 weeks.
Benzaknen reduces excess sebum and unclogs pores with its lipophilic properties, eliminating blackheads, pimples and pustules. Benzaknen has no habituation effect and works even after weeks as on the first day.

To use, cleanse your skin with a medicated cleansing gel before use, dry your skin well and then apply Benzaknen 5% gel in a thin layer.
Then clean your hands well. The benzoyl peroxide bleaches clothes, take care of your clothes, towels and pillows.

How to use?
Apply the medicine to the affected area(s) of skin. Clean the affected area(s) beforehand. Wash your hands thoroughly after use. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes or the areas around the mouth, nose and eyes.

Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease. The average duration of use is 4-12 weeks.

Overdose?
If accidentally swallowed, contact a doctor immediately. Stomach pain, nausea and vomiting may occur.

Forgotten application?
Continue the application as normal (i.e. not with double the amount) at the next prescribed time.

What should you bear in mind?
- Avoid excessive UV radiation, e.g. in solariums or during extended sunbathing, because the skin reacts more sensitively during the application of the medicinal product.
- Solvents (e.g. propylene glycol, E 477) can cause skin irritation.
- There may be medicines with which interactions occur. You should therefore generally inform your doctor or pharmacist of any other medicine you are already using before starting treatment with a new medicine. This also applies to medicines that you buy yourself, use only occasionally or have been using for some time.

Setzen Sie die Anwendung zum nächsten vorgeschriebenen Zeitpunkt ganz normal (also nicht mit der doppelten Menge) fort.
