How to use?
Spray the medicine into each nostril. Breathe gently through your nose while spraying. Clean your nose beforehand by blowing vigorously. Hold your head upright for the application. Before the first application, you should pump several times until a spray mist is formed.
Duration of use?
In principle, the duration of use is not limited, so the medicine can be used for longer periods. Use should be continued as long as contact with the allergenic substance (e.g. pollen) continues. Maximum duration of treatment in children aged 6-11 years: 4 weeks.
Overdose?
No overdose symptoms are known when used as directed. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Forgotten application?
Resume normal use at the next prescribed time (i.e. do not double the amount).
As a general rule: Pay particular attention to conscientious dosing for infants, small children and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.
A dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information on the package leaflet. As the doctor will adjust it individually, you should therefore use the medicine according to his instructions.
Dosage
General dosage recommendation:
Children aged 6-11 years 1 spray per nostril 2 times a day in the morning and evening
Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults: 2 sprays per nostril 1-2 times a day in the morning and evening
Maximum dose: Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults: A dose of 8 sprays per day should not be exceeded.

How does the ingredient in the medicine work?
When allergy-triggering substances enter the body, the messenger substance histamine is released from the mucous membranes of the eyes and nose, causing them to become inflamed. The active ingredient prevents the allergic reaction by keeping histamine away from the mucous membranes. In this way, the active ingredient combats the unpleasant allergic symptoms in the eyes and nose, such as itching, redness, swelling or sneezing, within minutes.

0.21 mg azelastine hydrochloride
0.192 mg azelastine

Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 6 years of age: The medicine must not be used.

- Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor or pharmacist. They will check your particular situation and advise you accordingly as to whether and how you can continue breastfeeding.
If you have been prescribed the medicine despite a contraindication, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit may be greater than the risk associated with the use of a contraindication.

What adverse effects can occur?
- Taste disturbances (bitter taste)
- Irritation in the nose, such as
- Burning of the mucous membranes
- Tingling of the mucous membranes
