Redeem German E-prescription
Here you will find lots of important information about the prescripton.
You also have the option of uploading the prescription below. Please also add the medication to the shopping basket.
Important information:
Prescription medicines will only be dispatched as soon as we have received the original prescription unless it is a prescription with a QR-Code, that we can redeem. Please send it to the following address:

Requirements for the prescription:
• The prescription must fulfil the German requirements for us to accept it.
• The prescription must come from a doctor in the European Union, Switzerland or Norway.
• E-prescriptions can only be accepted from Germany or with a QR code that we can redeem. For normal prescriptions from abroad, we require a printed paper prescription.
• The prescription is not older than 3 months. Prescriptions are only valid for 3 months in Germany.
• It is not a repeat prescription. There are no repeat prescriptions in Germany.
• The medication will only be dispatched after the original prescription has arrived at our pharmacy by post. A scan, fax or printout is not sufficient. Unless it is an e-prescription with a QR-Code, that we can redeem.
What must the prescription contain?
• Date of the prescription
• Exact name of the medicine or active ingredient, potency and quantity
• Handwritten signature and practice stamp of the doctor unless it is an e-prescription with a QR-Code, that we can redeem
• Patient details including name, address and date of birth
• Doctor's details including name, address and speciality
What else should you know?
• Please note that due to legal requirements, PayPal or credit card payment is not possible for prescription medicines. Please select the payment method ‘Payment in advance’ or ‘Invoice’.
• For German health insurance prescriptions (pink form):
Please note that medicines are supplied in accordance with the current validity of your health insurance company's discount agreements with the manufacturers. As a result, the manufacturer of the medicine you order may differ from the manufacturer of the medicine delivered.
And this is how it works:
1. Please click on ‘Prescription upload’ below.
2. Upload the prescription photo from your image file. It should be either a jpeg or a png file. The image will be added to the shopping basket.
3. Search for the prescribed medicine in our shop using the search function.
4. Select your prescription type and add the medicine to the shopping basket.
5. Finalise the order and check the subsequent order confirmation.
6. We will then check the order and contact you to check whether the order and prescription fulfill the pharmaceutical and legal requirements.
7. After receiving the confirmation, it is best to make the payment and send the prescription to us by post unless it is an e-prescription with a QR-Code, that we can redeem.
8. We will inform you when we have received the payment and about the status of the order.
